  1. Using this week’s passage, explain in your own words Paul’s supporting points for his argument that we should maintain humility in our attitude toward Israel.
  2. Verse 26 starts “and so” or “and in this way” making a clear connection between Israel’s “partial hardening … until the fullness of the Gentiles” and salvation for all of Israel. What is meant by ‘all?’ And how do you think their hardening results in their salvation?
  3. Verses 26-27 quote Isa. 59 and Jer. 31 (listed above). In these verses, what, specifically, is the covenant God makes with Israel?
  4. Verse 28 calls Israel enemies. Whose enemies are they and why?
  5. In your own words, explain the events described in verses 30-32.
  6. Verses 33-36 is probably the conclusion to all of chapters 9-11. What personal applications can you draw in your life from these verses?
