Romans 3:19-31

Please pray for understanding and answer the following questions.

Also read: Acts 13:23-41 and James 2:10

  1. Define “the law” (as used here in Romans 3), Righteousness, Justification and Propitiation.
  2. Even though no one can be justified by the law (James2:10), what would you have to do to be justified by the works of the law?
  3. According to Romans 3, how is one able to be justified in the eyes of God? (Write verse references that support your point.)
  4. Based on Romans3:20, what does the law reveal to us?
  5. Paul says in Romans 3:27 that “boasting” is excluded. What should we not boast about and why can’t we boast about it?
  6. Based on these verses, what do you have in common with unbelievers? What do you have in common with believers? How does that Help you love people?
