Why does Paul reference God’s power in the gospel? How have you seen it in your life? - In verse 17, what does “from faith to faith” mean? Use the verses listed below, paying attention to the prepositions surrounding the word “faith.” Romans 9:30, Phil. 3:9, 2 Cor. 3:18
- Look up the definition of the Greek word for “suppress.” Can you describe a way in which you’ve witnessed someone “suppress the truth” by their unrighteousness (v. 18)?
- How does Psalm 19 go along with verse 20?
- Give some examples of how mankind’s thinking has become “nonsense”, their mind darkened, claiming to be wise they are fools and how they have exchanged God’s glory for early things. (verse 21-23).
- In verse 24, is sexual impurity a cause or result? Of what is it a cause or result? What can we pull from that?
