This week we will be OBSERVING:
Galatians 4:1-5
Instructions:
- Reference the PDF handouts below for detailed instructions.
- Pray first! Pray before every time you’re able to sit down to study. And pray throughout the week for the Lord to bring understanding about His Word through His Spirit.
- Read as much of the context as you can.
- Print out the page (or use your Bible) so that you can highlight/circle/underline key words, phrases and connecting words.
- Write/Type out as many Who, What, When, Where, Why and How questions as you can. And write/type as many answers to those questions as you can.
- Use BlueLetterBible (or Strong’s Concordance or other word study tools) to understand words deeper. (Don’t peak at the commentaries while you’re there 😉
- Identify any figurative language in the text. Is it a simile? A metaphor?

I have three final encouragements:
- Don’t read commentaries.
- Don’t wait for the last minute. Think about your week. And plan to invest some time into study when you have the most “free time.”
- Feel free to study together with your spouse, but don’t divide the work. If you do study together, you must walk through all the steps together!
If you have any questions please ask.
