- List 3 or 4 situations you’re going through right now that you consider afflictions. Then, for each item, answer: a) how can you rejoice in it? b) what character trait might God be using this affliction to produce in your life?
- In Romans 5:6-11, God’s great love is shown to us because He loved us while we were His enemies. Ask God to reveal at least one person in your life who either annoys you or you actually consider an enemy. Then ask for His strength to love that person the way that He loved you. Write how you can practically love them.
